My brother and I owned that car for a short time. I still have the 455 that was in it. Nice job, Looks great glad to see it coming together.

Ya my brother is Rich,I see him in one of your pics when the car was still in his shop. Great job bringing that car back to life,We really wanted to do that car but we had to many projects going and we were glad the car went back to someone that knew its history.

rich is a great guy, i found him through a craigslist ad for a 455 block, and when i saw that car it was like seeing a ghost. brought back lots of memories of when my friend had it in the 80s and used to street race it alot. now im trying to revive it. its coming along . got alot of the parts it was missing. your engine is looking great by the way. good luck with your project.

Are you going to top coat the DP Gary? I used flex and flat clear and top coated mine. The DP really is a nice match for what was used originally.

The DP really is a nice match for what was used originally. hi j, im going over the dp with gm reconditioning black when the rest of the body work is done on the car. i was just looking at it and thinking the same thing about the dp looking alot like the original finish.
