Got my manual steering gear back from Chip at powersteering.com He did a great job on it. Rehabbed the rag joint for free also. Date code is A3574, 1st shift, December 23rd, 1964.

The feds shut down today, evening news said DC and the jersey shore, got dumped on by 2" of snow !! Hell that`s considered a dusting. Take one of the snowblowers out for that and you`d get laughed at. -23 this morning. When it gets that cold, try BBQ`n some burgers outside with a beer. I want to see you put that can to your lips!! And nothing comes out ! then you have to walk in the house to get the can off your face. Were supposed to see 15-20 by the weekend.

Actually one of the main reasons they close down here in DC is that there are so many people from somewhere else and they are not use to driving in snow. It's much easier for them to shut things down and let folks work from home and clear the roads than keep it open and have to clear cars and snow from the roads.

7 inches, all in one day!? That's a dusting! Guess Postie was right??? Hey, I agree, there are some serious whip drivers here in DC. Just don't lump us all in the same boat. I like snow that I can plow with my bumper, not much locks me in except those lovely ice storms we get. I don't care how bad ass you are, everyone is pretty much equal on ice.

I'll agree with that!!!!!! Hate ice! Can't stop, can't go, can't steer!

Warmed up enough to get the housing painted. Now to add the brake lines and the rubber snubber brackets and its done.

The other day it hit 52 so I fired up the ready heater, got it up to 60 and sprayed away. Its a bitch having something ready to paint and waiting on the weather to get right. Probably shouldve waited until spring but I couldnt resist.

On the frame is Eastwood semi-gloss. The rear and control arms are Rustoleum semi-gloss. Straight from Home Depot.
