Theres an article, I believe in Car Craft, on the Money Oldsmobile Tiger Eater 65 442. Anyone have that magazine, I have no idea what year it was. I lost out on it on ebay a while ago. I think the car was painted in tiger stripes. Money Olds was in Phoenix.

No scoops either ass. Car had tiger stripes back in 65. That I do remember seeing.
Now I know what magazine it was in. Just bought it off ebay.

Why would you put tiger stripes on a TIGER EATER? ?? This was on Mondello's Hall of Fame page.........so don't you think they would have a pic if it were striped?

Here it is, striped like a tiger. Wonder why the scoops are gone on the current car. And for Bro, notice the small strip chrome on the rear panel. That is a painted tail panel.................................Notice how the emblem runs into the upper and lower chrome?

i think that would be a great paint job for the new 4 speed car ramz. it would hide all the rust also. no bodywork to do ;D ;D ;D

It has a nice stance to it , doesn't it. Yeah I like it... but I don't think you can get that size rear tire anymore (285-70/15).

He still drives the thing to car shows, and occasionally, around town. Other than the tires, and the sound, and other subtle things...you'd think it's a stocker. It's neat. Jim

Kinda remember the car, mostly from the paint and E.T.'s - Great story, thanks for sharing!! As far as Joe Mondello goes, he's a good guy, but can't say anything nice about the new owners! [FU's]

I wonder why that car is classified in A/S (apprears to be in this pic)? Those '65 cars were usually in B/S or BB/S in 1965 with GTOs and Buick GS according to N.H.R.A. Maybe it was A.H.R.A. or NASCAR (yea that Nascar sanctioned drag racing back then).

Just noticed on the previous page it is A.H.R.A. I can't read the time on the World Record but I do know the rules regarding "STOCK" were different for N.H.R.A.
