No, that's only partially the truth, NO lights in my fridge other than the one that guides my hands to the proper beer, Molson, Labatts, Heineken, and a few others. No Miller, Buds, old Milwaukee and the like. Nothing better than a smoked pork butt, couple of colds Labatts and some kind of potato to round out the day.

Miller Lite is fine, although I have acquired a taste for 32 degree Fat Tire's, Tecate's pool side.

Oregon is the land of Micro Brews! Good to go back to some ole swill once inawhile as I grew up on stuff like Falstaff, Phiefers, Red White and Blue, Old Milwaukee, etc. But cant beat the varieties out here.

Lots of detail work going on now, core support, headlight housings, all powder coated, installed the RobMac mini starter, noticed I needed to put a .15 thousands shim in; the starter pinion was touching the flexplate ring gear. The original starter motor wiring was cleaned and re-wrapped. The cables for the parking brake all done, installed the Dean Oliver prepared QJet, working on the wiring harnesses, have to decide what kind of fuel line I need to order, and the radiator situation needs to be resolved. But just about ready to get the body put back on. Need to start on the steering column, windshield wiper motor, restoring the emblems and chrome, order fasteners.

First let me say, nice work. But at the risk of stepping on some toes, after looking at your engine assembly you`ve got too much going on with your crankcase ventilation. Your going to have to decide between closed or open, you can`t do both. Sometimes more is better, but not in this case. The way you have it set up is going to both restrict, and obstruct. And depending where your porting for your PCV valve a possible host of other problems. The reason this caught my attention is from a thread real57vetteguy has going, someone asked how he was planning on venting the crankcase, he replied one of the covers was ported, and the manifold was drilled for a pcv valve. THAT`S NOT how ventilation works. For the well being of all the hard work of building an engine, PROPER ventilation is critical. If I can be of any help, anytime. Or I can just but out.

Nothing is wrong So far as I can see, with yours, one vent, the valve cover, the oil fill tube is sealed, which is correct with a PCV coming off the CARB?

yes , pcv is off carb. before this car i had a 64 bonneville and it puked oil out of dipstick when i got after it. i think it was rings though. lucas oil additive helped alot. crankcase venting has always been a mystery, remember something about the top hat oil fill that was negative also, no explanation though
